Description

Ivysaur research. Because it is fun.

[Bulbasaur]
[Ivysaur]
Symboda is for the word symbiotic or symbiosis, and accrue means to accumulate, typically benefits.

I added the typed text for anybody who wants to be able to read my typos.
I can't believe I wrote the thing on its back is a bulb! :iconnoooooplz: It's a bud! A BUD!

Tree of Life Project: Creature Study No.2

After deliberation among my colleagues the name Pokémon was agreed upon however not as a Kingdom but as a species. Many Pokémon can breed with obviously different 'species' making it approprate to have a breeding classification: egg type in addition to the binomial nomenclature. Each group of evolutionarily related Pokémon have the same egg type. A few exceptions are 'baby Pokémon' and a few others. Evolutionarily  related Pokémon share the same common classification. Symboda is of the egg Types Monster and Grass.

Symboda accrue, (Ivysaur) the evolved form of S. aquiest, developed stronger musculature and sturdier bones to support the hefty bulb. The growth makes the average height 1.0m (3'03") and weight 13.0kg (28.7 lbs).

The bud influences some behavior via anchors in the nervous system. These also allow S. accrue to fast for weeks on end.

Seeds grow at the base of the stem covered by small leaves entwined by sturdy vines that the reptile can manipulate Resting position of these vines vary by specimine. The large leaves cause much of chlorophyll to retreat from the reptile's epidermis. Exposure to sunlight adds to  S. accrue's power and makes the bud swell. As the bud grows, the sweeter the scent it releases. If the scent is distinct to the nose and S. accrue spends extended periods laying in sunlight, it will evolve soon.

Despite its numbers in captivity, it is a rare find in the Kanto wilds. S. accrue's natural habitat seems to be open plains with abundant fresh water and sunshine. There have been reports of them inhabiting jungles and forests.

Symboda accrue is of the familiar basictype Grass and Poision.
